Shavuot, The Day Of Pentecost Preparation Day

Today is the day God told Moses to prepare the people to meet with Him on Sunday, He told Him for the next two days consecrate the people, cleanse the people and get them ready so I can meet with them. This was in preparation of him giving them the ten commandments. This is the feast of Shavuot which is also known as Pentecost, which means to count 50, 50 days after first fruits, which is the day Jesus rose from the dead.

This is also the time that the disciples were in one accord praying and seeking God for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, for Pentecost. So Pentecost has a great reputation of God showing up to meet with His people, God is very good at showing up on certain days, more than once. This is a very powerful day on God's calendar. When He showed up in the old Testament He scared the people to death, with the smoke and the mountain quaking and shaking and rumbling. Moses said He trembled with fear.

When the Holy Spirit showed up on Pentecost, the whole place was filled with awe and fire and power. This coming Sunday starting at day break,(this is the only feast that does not begin at sundown, instead it starts at sunrise and only lasts 12 hours) Is Pentecost

It sure would be nice for our body to be in one accord fasting and praying for the next two days for God to show up and meet with His people.

Exodus 19;10
And the Lord said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow. Have them wash their clothes 11 and be ready by the third day, because on that day the Lord will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people. 12 Put limits for the people around the mountain and tell them, ‘Be careful that you do not approach the mountain or touch the foot of it. Whoever touches the mountain is to be put to death. 13 They are to be stoned or shot with arrows; not a hand is to be laid on them. No person or animal shall be permitted to live.’ Only when the ram’s horn sounds a long blast may they approach the mountain.”
14 After Moses had gone down the mountain to the people, he consecrated them, and they washed their clothes. 15 Then he said to the people, “Prepare yourselves for the third day. Abstain from sexual relations.”
Thursday June 9, 2016 the anniversary of this day.
