Just Believe

Luke 24; They stood still, their faces downcast. 18 One of them, named Cleopas, asked him, “Are you the only one visiting Jerusalem who does not know the things that have happened there in these days?”
19 “What things?” he asked.
“About Jesus of Nazareth,” they replied. “He was a prophet, powerful in word and deed before God and all the people. 20 The chief priests and our rulers handed him over to be sentenced to death, and they crucified him; 21 but we had hoped that he was the one who was going to redeem Israel.

The Disciples had walked with Jesus 3 years, they knew He was the Christ, they  had seen every miracle He had performed. He revealed to them He was God.

Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. 12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

They were doubting everything that He had told them because fear and worry had entered their hearts. Because Jesus was no longer with them, He had died, but He told them He was gonna die and rise from the dead. The point I am getting at is, all of the promises God makes us, die, then God raises them from the dead, but during that process of waiting for them to be raised, doubt and fear that it really wasn't Jesus who told those things to us rises up in your heart.
Jesus really is real, His promises really are from Him. Yes, He really did speak them to you, now is the time you believe and stand, because nothing is left but faith, that you know His voice, you walked with Him and you know it, the waiting is hard, but you cannot doubt all that He showed you.

John 21; 25
Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.

The disciples saw all this happen, and yet saw Him die. They lost faith and Hope, because the flesh was over riding the Spirit. In their hearts they knew, but their flesh over came their hearts. Our flesh rises up with fear, because satan puts doubt in there. You gotta stand in faith and believe everything Jesus showed you and told you. JUST BELIEVE>

God's Glory, and God's Strength

God is going to reveal Him, (His Strength, and His Glory) Through what He has called you to do. He is not interested in revealing you, (your strength and your glory) through what you want to do for Him.
Romans 8; 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[i] have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
Ephesians 2; 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
If you notice, God is telling us through His Word, that He chose us, He made us, He called us, for His purpose, He made us to be in the image of His son, to Glorify Him, by the works we do, through His strength.

2 Corinthians 12; 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
It is our weakness that reveals God's strength.
Hebrews 11; 32 And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson and Jephthah, about David and Samuel and the prophets, 33 who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies.
God uses our Faith that He gave us, to reveal His Glory and His strength, none of these men could have done what they did without God giving them the strength to do what they did.
18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written:
“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise;
the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”[c]
20 Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21 For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. 22 Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom, 23 but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, 24 but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.
God is going to reveal Himself through those He called, but not by anything they did, it is going to be done by God's strength, for His Glory, through His called. He called us to reveal His Glory, He chose us through our weakness to show His strength. He did not call us to do what we think is good, he called us to do what He created us to do, before the foundations of the earth, He already had planned out His purpose for our lives.

Isaiah 40;31 31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Waiting on the Lord for His will to be done not our will, will result in His strength not our strength, for His Glory to be revealed not our Glory. He will reveal His Glory and His power through our waiting on His will to be done. SO BE IT.
